Please be aware that the City of Helena requires that you get a permit to hold a garage sale within the city. You can obtain the permit at the Helena Municipal Building. It will cost $6.00 and is good for 3 days. You may get a permit for a garage sale 2 times within one year. The permit must be posted the day of your garage sale.
